Methodology
Total cost = fixed costs + (per-attendee cost x expected attendees). Cost per attendee = total cost / expected attendees. Break-even ticket price = cost per attendee. All inputs are your own assumptions.

Worked example
Fixed costs of 3,200 (badge stock 400, desk staff 1,800, signage 1,000), per-attendee cost of 6.50, 240 attendees: total = 3,200 + 6.50 x 240 = 4,760. Cost per attendee = 19.83.
